No joke--University Games was founded on April Fool's Day in 1985 by Bob Moog and Cris Lehman. Both hold degrees from Stanford University and the University of California at Berkeley, respectively. Bob and Cris always loved playing games with their families. They both grew up thinking that fun and educational games were a part of everyday life. As adults, they recognized a developing niche in social interaction and educational games for adults and children-and that is how University Games began. The company philosophy has always been to offer games that encourage social interaction and imagination through gameplay, with education being the key.
